Aiken Soil and Water Conservation District will award one graduating Aiken County senior with the Jeffrey Dale Swartz Scholarship this June. The recipient will receive $1000.00 to go towards tuition and books. The applicant must be planning to attend a college, university, or technical college to pursue a degree in agriculture, forestry, wildlife biology, or environmental science in the fall of 2017. This year's application deadline is Monday, May 1, 2017.
